Dream

I was a little girl alone in my little world who dreamed of a little home for me.
I played pretend between the trees, and fed my houseguests bark and leaves, and laughed in my pretty bed of green.

I had a dream
That I could fly from the highest swing.
I had a dream.

Long walks in the dark through woods grown behind the park, I asked God who I’m supposed to be.
The stars smiled down on me, God answered in silent reverie. I said a prayer and fell asleep.

I had a dream
That I could fly from the highest tree.
I had a dream.

Now I’m old and feeling grey. I don’t know what’s left to say about this life I’m willing to leave.
I lived it full and I lived it well, there’s many tales I’ve lived to tell. I’m ready now, I’m ready now, I’m ready now to fly from the highest wing.

I had a dream

I heard this song about 5 years ago back in Russia and instantly fell in love with it. Every time I heard it on the radio I wished they would say who it was, but for some reason I do not recollect suck thing.

When I moved to US I totally forgot about this song and it was not popular here. (Not that it is now either)

My dad loves to listen to Russian radio station in the morning or through out the day. So one day when he turned on his favorite radio station, I heard it once again! I turned on my Sound Hound on my phone and it recognized the song and showed me what was the name of it and who sang it. I was so happy.:)

I’m still am happy that I found one of my favorite songs.

First time I heard this song, I was like “What is this? I love it.” Every time I hear this song I feel nostalgic of my birth country Russia. I guess, first of all, because this song has an accordion playing the same melody. Second, Vika Jigulina has russian accent (just like me:) ) The combination of all of this plus dance style made the song super amazing.

Music…

…can’t be replaced by anything. I love music and it means a lot to me. I can’t go a day with out it. It’s like a drug. I don’t have a favorite artist or favorite genre. I just have favorite albums that  I like to listen to.

PS. Of course, they are time when I need quite and music irritates crap out of me. But that’s not the point.
